  Great food, great staff, great service and an interesting and varied selection of meats and desserts. I would recommend the sweet potato, buffalo mozzarella and chocolate sauce dessert. It's a rather acquired taste, but it is to DIE FOR!

  On my previous visit I had their specialty steak cut ( can't remember what its called , but they explained there are only two of them available on each carcass) to he honest it was not as good as their standard rib eye.

  Nice evening meal with my wife. Starters were meat and chicken savoury pasties which were well prepared. With our preference being the chicken. The main meals were also well presented and cooked well. Service was also excellent and the restaurant had a good ambience about it. Couple of criticisms, they had Argentinian videos running. Which at first were novel but after an hour of Argentinian Tangos got a bit tiresome. The second criticism was that the hotel recommended them but due to the way the menu outside was presented we nearly didn't go in. All the different language menus were inter mixed making it hard to follow.

  Went for steak but tempted by Beef ribs. Lovely flavour but the fat made them fiddly, and believe me, I'm not one to shy away from fatty ribs and attacking with hands and teeth, but fat was too undercooked but meat was tender and flavoured!

  Table was not ready despite booking and when we arrived they had to move people to seat us. The waiters then proceeded to walk around the restaurant looking busy while ignoring us. Waited 30 minutes no drinks order taken. We then left. Been a long time since having such poor service. Very disappointed considering previous reviews

  This was our second visit to El Argentino and it was absolutely great. The beef sausage / chorizo was delicious as were the other starters of spicy beef pastie and garlic bread. We had 3 rib eye steaks and a sirloin tip steak all if which were melt in the mouth. My daughter had a pasta dish which she really enjoyed. The el agrentino pancake for desert was also very enjoyable. I tried to order a portion if onion ring's, but was given a side of fried red onions which were really added to the steak and pepper sauce, so much more than what I originally was looking for. A little on the pricey side but very well worth it, especially if you can get a sea view table. Would recommend.
